Wally, The Wallpaper Guy

Now's your chance to have your very own interior decorator, and he won't cost you a bundle! Wally, the Wallpaper Guy is an inexpensive, but very experienced, Windows 95 wallpaper hanger that's ready to come work on your computer's main background image everyday. Your computer will be the talk of the office as your personal interior consultant Wally, the Wallpaper Guy periodically gives it a fresh new look. While other people in the office are sweating the do-it-yourself route by stripping and hanging their own wallpaper, you can kick back and relax as the professionals, Wally, the Wallpaper Guy and his crew, give your desktop that perfect look every time.

The first time Wally Wallpaper and his boys come and work on your desktop, they'll go through your Windows directory and pick out all the BMP pictures that are suitable for wallpapering. This will be the master list of all the wallpapers Wally can use when he's automatically changing your desktop's background. You may add BMP images to this list if you like, and they don't have to be in the Windows directory. They can be anywhere on your system!

You can instruct Wally on how often you'd like your wallpaper changed. (Don't worry, Wally and his crew will work around the clock without charging overtime!) You have three choices as to when it is changed:

  1. Do not change it, which means Wally does nothing.

  2. When Windows starts up, which means every time you log in Wally will automatically change your wallpaper.

  3. While Windows is running, which means that as you work, Wally will change the wallpaper every so often, at the time interval you direct him to.

You can also tell Wally how to display the wallpaper:

  1. He can either go sequentially through the list of pictures, or he can pick pictures at random from the list.

  2. Wally will either show the pictures centered on the screen (which is good for photos), or he will tile them on the screen (which is good for patterns).
